Yelapa is a town down the coast that can be reached only by boat (or mountain bike). It’s a place where locals and foreigners alike can live in Mexico without living in Mexico.

People were selling trinkets along the beach.  I held out until an 8 year old girl came by with homemade hot banana fritters.  Café des Artistes could have charged me a lot for one, and I would have been happy to pay.
